Vodafone is relying on Cardano - the Launchpad pre-sale continues

German mobile phone company Vodafone plans to release a series of NFTs on the Cardano (ADA) blockchain. The IS NFT collection to be published later this year. This stems from a post made by Vodafone’s Discord channel and a tweet from the company.

Cardano has been able to do a few things in recent days positive developments register. The trading volume of their DeFi network rose dramatically, while many other DeFi blockchains became obsolete or only grew very slowly. The Cardano course was also able to grow properly. ADA token is currently trading at $0.29.

Vodafone chose blockchain because of its “Communities, sustainability and the cross-chain possibilities.” The NFT collection is due to be released later this year. An exact date is not yet known as to what kind of non-exchangeable tokens there should be and what applications and benefits they should have. Vodafone is relying on NMKR’s NFT platform

The first rumors appear when the NFT NMKR platform posted a screenshot of Vodafone’s Slack Chat on Twitter. NMKR is said to be responsible for minting the NFTs. The rumors were finally confirmed on June 29, but Vodafone was not actually working with NMKR.

Initially, Vodafone only wants to focus on Germany. However, the company plans to include international members of the community in the future. No one should be excluded from the project. Although it is not entirely clear what the purpose of the NFTs is, Vodafone strives to create real value for Vodafone customers.

Potential impact on the ADA course

This news could have a positive impact on the development of the ADA course. That one of the world’s largest wireless companies is choosing Cardano over one of the many competing blockchains like Ethereum sends a strong signal. That’s why they are Expectations in the Cardano community high

Although it cannot be assumed that the 31 million Vodafone users in Germany will now jump on the blockchain and NFT train. The Launchpad pre-sale continues

Later, the price is upgraded to $0.046. Launchpad’s goal is to provide an all-inclusive program Web 3 platforms to build up. Features include trading cryptocurrencies and NFTs, as well as the ability to mint your own NFTs. Blockchain gaming is also set for future integration.
