However, today, there are dozens of products that you can afford with bitcoins. Let’s review nine things you never thought you could buy in cryptocurrencies …
Starbucks
A little Starbucks coffee? Go ahead and help yourself! And you can even pay in bitcoins (BTC)! That’s right, now you can buy a simple cup of coffee with “cryptocurrency gold”. In 2021, Starbucks, one of the world’s most popular and prevalent coffee house chains, partnered with Bakkt digital wallet to enable bitcoin payments at checkout. All customers have to do is add their Bakkt digital wallet to their Starbucks app. They can then pay quickly and conveniently using bitcoins at any Starbucks site.

Gift card
While you may not be able to buy everything you need directly with bitcoins, you can overcome this problem by purchasing gift cards using the “queen of cryptocurrencies”. You can then use them to pay for some products or services in the traditional way. A very popular site for buying cryptocurrency gift cards is called Bitrefill. Bitrefill lets you purchase gift cards for thousands of brands using your bitcoins, including Amazon, Xbox, Steam, Nike, and even Uber. But it does not stop there. You can also buy gift cards on Bitrefill with Litecoin, Ethereum, and many more.
A computer
Need a new laptop? Are you looking for a new smartphone? If you have set aside some bitcoin funds, you can use them to buy high-tech products. One of the largest technology companies currently accepting bitcoin payments is Newegg. Like many others altcoins, Newegg allows bitcoin payments via BitPay, a cryptocurrency payment processing app. But it’s important to note that Newegg does not offer refunds on purchases made through BitPay. Some other companies also accept payment in bitcoins to purchase technology products, such as Crypto Emporium. You can even sell your technology for cryptocurrencies on this site.

For shopping
Are you going to do your weekly shopping? You may be able to use bitcoins to pay for them. You can purchase a gift card for the grocery store of your choice or use a payment processing app. In France, unfortunately this method is still not very widespread. All you have to do is find the shops that display the logo above! There are about 300 businesses in France that allow the use of bitcoins as a payment method. The Passage du Grand Cerf in Paris has even become a “bitcoin boulevard”! In fact, 20 merchants now accept the offspring of bitcoin as an exchange currency.

computer games
If you like both game and cryptocurrencies, now you can merge both. There are many ways to buy games using cryptocurrencies. You can buy a gift card online for the vendor of your choice, such as Steam, PlayStation, or Xbox, or you can use a dedicated website that accepts crypto game payments. Joltfun is a great example of a website that accepts bitcoins for buying games. By using this site, you can purchase keys for specific games or add funds to other games vendor wallets. You will then receive an email containing the key code when you purchase a key. You can then use it to activate the game on a supported platform. Other sites, such as Keys4Coins, offer the same service.

Donations
You can only buy physical products with bitcoins. You can also buy subscriptions! Whether you want to subscribe to a VPN provider, a clouds or even to a streaming service, you can use your bitcoins (BTC) to do so. Some subscription services accept bitcoin payments (BTC) directly. Otherwise, you will have to go through a gift card channel for others. For example, you can pay for an ExpressVPN subscription on the company’s site using your bitcoins (BTC), but you will need to purchase a gift card to pay for a Netflix subscription with your crypto.

You can also purchase gift cards with your crypto to pay for rebellion through Uber Eats, DoorDash, and Deliveroo.
