Ethereum is headed for the biggest upgrade in its history, which is expected to happen around 05:27 UTC on September 15th.
Those who want to see in real-time the historical transition of the Ethereum network to Proof-of-Stake (PoS) will have many options to choose from.
The Ethereum Foundation has scheduled the Ethereum Mainnet Merge Watchlist to be streamed live on YouTube around 4:00 UTC time, about an hour and a half before the estimated time of the Merge.
The Merge upgrade will occur when the network has reached a total terminal difficulty of 58750000000000000000, after which the next product will be made through the POS mechanism.
Guests scheduled for the Ethereum Foundation live stream include Ethereum Cat Herders and content creators from Bankless and The Daily Gwei.

The description also hints at other “high-profile guests,” which could include Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin and The Daily Gwei founder Anthony Sassano, both of whom have appeared on test network live streams in the past.
According to the YouTube report, viewers who tune in two hours before the upgrade will be able to “participate in the artistic canvas of POAP.”

Once the Merge upgrade is complete, Ethereum will complete its full transition to PoS, which should significantly reduce its power consumption.
