There is Craig Wright the self-proclaimed creator of Bitcoin (BTC). He strongly supported being Satoshi Nakamoto for several years. Now the verdict to try against Peter McCormack points out that his quotes were wrong.
Satoshi Nakamoto, the creator of Bitcoin, is not Craig Wright!
Craig Wright vehemently claimed to be the creator of Bitcoin. He claimed to be the author of the Bitcoin whitepaper and responsible for displaying private keys on the blockchain. Over the years, many people have objected to Craig Wright’s claims. Moreover, the latter has repeatedly lost the opportunity to demonstrate that he is indeed Satoshi Nakamoto.
Among the professionals who dismissed the idea that Craig created Bitcoin is the well-known crypto podcaster Peter McCormack. Before that, Peter sent various tweets to to defame Wright and a profession of fraud. He even went so far as to openly ask Craig to sue him.
Craig Wright was quick to file a lawsuit against Peter in April 2019. After many twists and turns in Wright’s lawsuit against McCormack, the final verdict was handed down recently. It turns out that Justice Martin Chamberlain of the British High Court said so Wright presented false evidence.
At the same time, the judge pointed out that McCormack had caused “serious harmWright’s reputation through his comments. In this context, he must pay one pound in damages to Craig.
Judge Martin Chamberlain issued a final verdict on the case between Peter McCormack and Craig Wright who claimed to be Satoshi Nakamoto, the creator of Bitcoin. He said : “…as it is put forward a false case and deliberately present false evidence until a few days before the law, he will receive only nominal damages … Accordingly, I will judge in in favor of Dr. Wright on the claim for the sum of £1.»
