For several weeks, the Ethereum Foundation and Vitalik Buterin have already set the date of the Merger: on this day of September 15, 2022. Recently, they announced the exact time of the merger: 9:42 AM GMT+3.

From now on, the fusion of the mainnet Proof of Work of Ethereum with the efficient PoS Beacon chain. In other words, the entire protocol has changed from a PoW consensus algorithm to a PoS control algorithm.
What to expect after the Merger?
