You start in the world of bitcoin (BTC), cryptocurrencies and other NFT, you are a little lost, it’s normal. Here, you can safely click to find out the price of your favorite cryptos or NFTs, find out if a merchant near you accepts bitcoin (BTC) or even register on the reference forum to ask your questions.
We will not list (which would not be exhaustive) centralized platforms or not allowing you to buy bitcoins (BTC). It’s more about taking a (small) tour of the links that new people are likely to be interested in. Without further ado here, click on the links that interest you directly.
Cryptocurrency and NFT prices followed
Many sites offer to follow cryptos and NFTs course, we will mention some reference sites. Coinmarketcap and coinecko in particular.
Cryptoslam.io also offers you NFT collection courses. We find out that even the famous Panini cards have been reformed in NFT form.
Find a merchant that accepts bitcoins (BTC)
Still too little in France, thanks to Coinmap we find merchants that accept payments in bitcoins (BTC) on card. There are also (ATM) dispensers, and an ATM Coin Radar. It should be noted that ATM installers in France must obtain the PSAN from Pacte law so there are almost no ATMs in France. The coordinates showing the sites in question must therefore be checked before moving them if necessary.
From May 2022, there is a dedicated site for businesses in France: paiderenbitcoin.fr. The Passage du Grand Cerf in Paris is a tourist spot in Paris: around twenty shops accept bitcoin (BTC) there.
If you want to buy gift cards (Nike, Ikea, HetM and many others) or charge a phone, even on the other side of the world, you can use Bitrefill. You can organize your trip on Travala or XcelTrip Travel.
The reference forum on cryptocurrencies: Bitcointalk
The reference forum is the mythical forum, founded by Satoshi Nakamoto himself in 2009. You can go directly to the French section of the forum or, if you speak another language, do not hesitate to get information or ask questions in another section (about twenty languages are represented, English being the main one) . It was on this forum that the famous expression “HODL” was born. It is also on this forum that Ross Ulbricht will get to know Silk Road for the first time in 2011. He will then be arrested by the FBI and sentenced to life in an American prison. In short, moments of anthology to discover on the forum, where you can also find answers to your most basic and complex questions.
For Ethereum: Etherscan.io or Ethplorer.io. For Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies: blockchain.com, Blockchain.info or Blockcypher.com

Subprime, financial crises, galloping inflation, tax havens… Bitcoin was designed for more transparency and maybe finally change the situation. I try to understand this new environment and I try to explain it to myself. The road is undoubtedly long, but it is worth it.
